Back 4 Blood: How to Customise Your Character, How To Change Your Character and How To Unlock More Cosmetics

There are eight characters that you can play as in Back 4 Blood. Each one of them is unique and it's inevitable that you can end up having one or two that are your favourite. You can even customise your characters outfits to give them a specific look and to make them unique to you. We're going to show you how to customise your character, how to unlock more cosmetics and how to change your character.

How to Customise Your Character

To customise your character you need to be in Fort Hope. You cannot customise the look of your character whilst you are on a run. In Fort hope you need to look around for the army tent that has a few people asleep in it:

At the rear of this tent is a door, walk up to it and interact with it. You will then be taken to this screen where you can begin to customise your characters. Here, you can choose the character you wish to customise, and then it will take you to a screen where you will be able to view all of the outfits you have unlocked.

You can either choose to dress them in entire outfit sets such as the Battle Hardened one or you can choose to customise individual parts of the outfit.

How To Unlock More Cosmetics

To unlock more cosmetics to customise your characters you will need to earn Supply Points in the cooperative campaign to spend on Supply Lines at Fort Hope. As you complete challenges and play through chapters of the cooperative campaign you will earn points that you can spend on cosmetics that are part of different supply chains.

It's important to remember that if a cosmetic is placed later in a Supply Chain then you will need to purchase all of the items before it to be able to get that cosmetic.

How To Change Your Character

You can change your character while you are in Fort Hope. All you need to do is bring up the pause menu and click on "character select" then click on the one you want. Also, you can change your character at the start of a new run but if you are in multiplayer and someone else has locked in the character that you want you will need to choose another.


The more you play Back 4 Blood the easier it will be to earn Supply Points for Supply Lines where you can buy more cosmetics.
