Assassin's Creed Valhalla Includes X-Ray Kills For Finishing Opponents

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft's next instalment in the franchise, continues the path started by 2017's Origins and refines the series' RPG-stylings, but it's also getting a brutal new addition.

As glimpsed in the recent gameplay overview, players will be able to unleash gruesome "x-ray" finishers more akin to something you'd find in Mortal Kombat.

Twitter user @boughtbyblood316 tweeted game director Benoit Richer to ask about the new x-ray assassination, and the developer responded to confirm that it will be player triggered and available during gameplay.

The same tweet also noted that there will be more revealed "soon" about the return of the Hidden Blade - something we've discussed here.
