Animal Crossing New Horizons: How To Get Hardwood

Chop

New Horizons has been one of the best games to release this year.

The game has been progressing along smoothly since it released back in March.

Toy Day was the last major update for 2020, and we are looking ahead at what is to come within the New Year.

Crafting is one of the core components of New Horizons, and Hardwood is one of the vital materials within the game.

Here's how to easily find it within your island!

In order to obtain Hardwood within New Horizons, you are going to need to hit a tree with any type of ax.

There is a random chance you will be granted with the Hardwood material, so keep trying if you are not grabbing any.

Below is how players are able to craft an ax!

Firstly, crafting one seems to be the easiest way, as the components are relatively easy to find.

Or secondly, you can purchase one from Nooks Cranny.

Although this would seem like the easier option, they aren't always available, so if you're feeling lazy, keep your eyes peeled for an easy buy!

To craft a flimsy ax you will need the following materials:

  • 5 x tree branches
  • 1 x stone

Tree branches can be found by shaking down trees and stones can be found around the island.

You can then craft these together at Tom Nook's crafting bench.

Best of luck obtaining the Hardwood material!
