Season One has bought in a wealth of brand-new content for players to get stuck into, ranging from brand-new game modes to an all-new Warzone experience known as Rebirth Island.
Alongside the launch of Rebirth Island, Season One marks the start of Black Ops Cold War integration into the popular battle royale. Along with a cross-title level progression system, the entire Black Ops Cold War weapon arsenal has been added into Warzone.
One of the new additions to the arsenal is the Pelington 703, a mobile bolt-action sniper rifle capable of dominating the opposition in mid to long-range combat.
In this guide, find the best attachments to equip along with a loadout that is perfect for quick-scoping any opponents that stand in your way.
Pelington 703 Sniper Rifle
Armed with quick aim down sight speed and a fast rechamber speed, the Pelington is arguably the most mobile sniper in the category.
While its mobility and ease of control gives it the edge of many of its counterparts, the Pelington has one of the lowest damage statistics in the category, meaning a one-shot kill will only take place when aiming at the head or the upper chest, leaving minimal room for error.
The lack of damage can be rectified by selecting the right attachment combination, but what exactly are the best attachments to use on this bolt-action beast?
Pelington 703 Best Attachments
- Stabilizer .308 (Muzzle)
- 26.5” Tiger Team (Barrel)
- SAS Combat Stock (Stock)
- Fast Loader (Ammunition)
- Front Grip (Underbarrel)
This combination of attachments brings the damage in line with the likes of the LW3 – Tundra and the HDR, meaning that you can score one-shot kills without having to be aiming for the head all the time.
The tiger team barrel is the highlight of this particular combination, increasing reload speed, damage, fire rate, and bullet velocity.
If you prefer to use a different scope, swap the fast loader for a SUSAT Multizoom for both 2x and 4x magnification.
- Muzzle Brake 5.56 (Muzzle)
- 19.7” Takedown (Barrel)
- Microflex LED (Optic)
- Wire Stock (Stock)
- Speed Tape (Rear Grip)
Even though the Pelington is extremely mobile, it is hard to counter an enemy at closer distances which is why we have selected the Krig 6 as our secondary weapon.
Armed with minimal recoil and impressive damage output, the Krig provides the perfect crutch to fall back in situations where the sniper isn’t a viable option.
- Throwing Knife (Lethal)
- Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)
Add some flair to your Warzone gameplay by equipping the throwing knife as your lethal. It may not be as effective as a frag or a C4, but nothing comes close to scoring a kill with an expertly-timed throwing knife!
The heartbeat sensor has become the metagame for the past few months and is extremely handy to have when entering a building where an opponent could be awaiting your arrival.
- Cold-Blooded (Perk 1)
- Overkill (Perk 2)
- Shrapnel (Perk 3)
Cold-Blooded conceals your position from anyone equipped with thermal optics while Overkill gives you the ability to select two primary weapons which is particularly handy when using the Pelington.
The choice of Shrapnel may seem strange but when using a throwing knife, having two instead of one is always an advantage.
