Regice Raid Counters
Regice Raid Moveset
First up, if you want to know Regice’s Raid counters in Pokemon Go, you need to know what moves the Iceberg Pokemon can hit you with.
- Rock Smash
- Frost Breath
- Focus Blast
That’s some decent coverage, especially given that Earthquake could deal serious damage to any Fire or Steel pokemon looking to utilise type advantages.
Additional with both a Fast and Charged Fighting move at the ready you want to watch out when using Steel or Rock-types which would also deal Super effective damage to Regice/
Raid Team Choices
Based on Regice’s typing and moveset we have some clear winners.
- Moves: Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash
This powerhouse of a pokemon can deal some major Steel damage to Regice. It’s also likely that you have one of these ‘mons as Metagross has been featured frequently in the past.
While still weak to Earthquake, Metagross’ Psychic dual typing means the Fighting moves Regice could know won’t be super effective!
Mega Charizard Y
- Moves: Fire Spin, Blast Burn
While X is often seen as the cooler version, Mega Charizard Y wins out with it’s typing.
Exhibiting powerful Fire-type moves, and with it’s Flying-type making sure Earthquake is less effective, Mega Charizard Y will surely carry you to victory against Regice.
- Moves: Fire Spin, Overheat
For much the same reasons as Charizard, you’ll be wanting a Moltres to tackle Regice.
There’s not much more we can say that we haven’t already!
That’s our top three, but who else do you want to bring?
Entei and Reshiram are two powerful Fire-type Legendaries who could lend a hand, though they may struggle themselves against Regice’s moveset.
Mega Houndoom is in the same boat. Powerful at burning but against the wrong Regice, you could be served a loss.
Conkeldurr, Lucario and Machamp are good options too. Weak to Earthquake, doubly so for Lucario, but with powerful Fighting and or Steel-type moves at the ready you could demolish a Regice raid easily!
