Since its launch on November 13th, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has encountered its fair share of bugs and glitches.
The fifth instalment of the Black Ops Series drops players into the height of the Cold War with all-new single-player, multiplayer, and co-op zombies experiences.
As fans and players prepare for the launch of Season One on December 10th, players in multiplayer are still finding glitches that simply shouldn’t be happening in a Call of Duty match.
Thanks to a modified scorestreak system, it can take a while before players get the chance to call in their hard-earned streaks.
This unlucky player discovered an unusual glitch where this particular streak bounced out of the map before they even got the chance to discover what was inside!
A Bouncing Care Package?!
Reddit user DaRizzBizz came across this bizarre glitch during a hotly contested game on Nuketown ’84.
They managed to score a Care Package and immediately headed towards a quieter area of the map in order to call it in.
The package drops from the sky and manages to vault over the wooden fence and into a restricted area of the map, much to the bemusement of the player.
Will It Be Fixed?
It’s pretty obvious that a Care Package bouncing out of the map rather than landing on its designated target isn’t supposed to happen.
Developer Treyarch is renowned for addressing issues quickly, and it’s more than likely that it has been alerted to this issue, and its team are already planning on some of fix to be implemented into the game.
It is likely that a fix could arrive as soon as the start of Season One, where a patch addressing a number of issues will go live alongside new weapons, maps, game modes, and more.
