All The Changes

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is just under two weeks away.

Like any season, there are bound to be some amazing map changes in store for us.

Many are looking ahead to the Galactus event, which could be the turning point for the map as we know it.

Will Galactus destroy the map we are currently playing on, or will the Marvel characters save the day for all of us?

No matter the outcome, it appears Chapter 2 Season 5 is going to have some drastic map changes.

Here's what we know!

Old Map? Please

Ever since the release of Chapter 2, there has been a strong notion that we may return to the old map one day.

It feels strange that we may never go back and visit some of our most beloved locations such as Tilted Towers.

Now, it seems more likely than ever that we may be heading back to the old map.

If Epic was to bring back the old Fortnite map, we could see them implementing some sort of game mode or split season similar to Apex Legends.

Where players are able to choose which map they play for a limited time, or they even split the season up between the two maps.

Look out for the Galactus event in the coming weeks; as this will ultimately decide if the old map returns!

POIS

With the release of any new season, there is an ample amount of map changes to look out for.

This season we have seen the following POIs added:

  • Stark Industries
  • Doom's Domain
  • The Ruins

So, there were not a lot of changes to the map this season; making it likely we will see more next season.

Here are some locations that seem likely to undergo changes:

  • Salty Springs
  • Dirty Docks
  • Misty Meadows
  • Sweaty Sands

We will have to wait and see what Epic has up their sleeves.

Leaks/Rumors

As of now, we do not have any leaks or rumors to go off of for the new season.

However, in the coming weeks, we can expect a flurry of leaks to come as the season start date nears.
