Don’t be worried if you haven’t cracked it on your own, we’ve all been there!

Connecting to Xbox Live should happen automatically, but it can sometimes go wrong.

Here is our guide for how to connect to Xbox Live on your Series X and Series S!

And once you are connected, be sure to check out our game recommendations and maybe play one!

How to connect to Xbox Live

Xbox Series X/S

As we said above, this should happen automatically but, if it doesn’t, you can try these tricks!

Check your internet connection

First, check your wireless router and internet connection in the place your Xbox is.

If your other devices are connecting fine, it could instead be that your Xbox isn’t connected to the internet.

Your Xbox Series X, or Series S, can only connect to one wifi network at a time.

Connecting to a new one disconnects it from the previous one, and all the details are forgotten.

You can reconnect your Xbox under Settings.

Open the menu, by pressing the Xbox button, and go over to the Profile and Sytem tab at the right of the list.

From here open Settings, then General and then Network Settings.

From here, Set up a wireless network by selecting your wifi router name and entering the passcode.

This should fix your problem!

Still not fixed?

If you still have internet problems, your Xbox Series X, or Series S, could be faulty.

Check the details of your warranty if you have one and contact Microsoft Support or the retailer you purchased it at for solutions on how to get your console fixed!

We hope this guide helped, and please check out our others for your Xbox Series X and Series S needs!
