When Does Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Start?

I guess, never if Galactus wins....

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4’s Week 10 Challenges have released, so we can’t have long until Chapter 2 Season 5 is upon us.

If you’re like us, you just cannot wait until the new content drops and want to be counting down the days.

So, here is when Season 5 will begin!

When does Chapter 2 Season 5 start?

Assuming Galactus doesn’t win and devour the Island, we can expect Chapter 2 Season 5 just after Season 4 wraps up.

Right now, we’re pretty sure that we know the end date of Chapter 2 Season 4.

Officially this should be November 30, at least according to information you can find in the game.

If you go over to the Battle Pass tab, and onto the screen where you can see all the cosmetics and items you have (or could have)  unlocked you should see the information in the bottom left corner.

Currently, the line says “Chapter 2 - Season 4 through November 30th”.

This is as good as information as any to show November 30 will be Chapter 2 Season 4’s end date!

As such, Chapter 2 Season 5 will likely drop December 1, maybe December 2 if the updates take a bit longer to ship out.

This is unlikely to be a Season X style reboot, so hopefully, the Galactus event won’t lead to any two week-long delays again!

Though if ‌leaks‌ ‌by‌ ‌Fortnite‌ ‌dataminer‌ ‌@ShiinaBR‌ ‌are‌ ‌to‌ ‌be‌ ‌believed,‌ ‌the‌ ‌end‌ ‌date‌ ‌of‌ ‌Chapter‌ ‌2‌ ‌ Season‌ ‌4‌ ‌is‌ ‌being‌ ‌delayed.‌ ‌

This‌ ‌will‌ ‌mean‌ ‌the‌ ‌start‌ ‌date‌ ‌of‌ ‌Chapter‌ ‌2‌ ‌Season‌ ‌5‌ ‌will‌ ‌also‌ ‌be‌ ‌delayed.‌ ‌

The‌ ‌current‌ ‌end‌ ‌date‌ ‌for‌ ‌Season‌ ‌4‌ ‌is‌ ‌November‌ ‌30‌ ‌(October‌ ‌30th‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Tweet‌ ‌is‌ ‌likely‌ ‌a‌ ‌typo),‌ ‌but‌ ‌we‌ ‌could‌ ‌see‌ ‌it‌ ‌pushed‌ ‌back‌ ‌to‌ ‌December‌ ‌3‌. ‌

This‌ ‌means‌ ‌we‌ ‌likely‌ ‌won’t‌ ‌see‌ ‌Season‌ ‌5‌ ‌until‌ ‌December‌ ‌4th,‌ ‌not‌ ‌a‌ ‌whole‌ ‌lot‌ ‌longer‌ ‌to‌ ‌wait!‌ ‌

However, the ‌leak‌ ‌has‌ ‌yet‌ ‌to‌ ‌be‌ ‌officially‌ ‌confirmed,‌ ‌but‌ ‌we‌ ‌will‌ ‌keep‌ ‌you‌ ‌updated‌ ‌as‌ ‌soon‌ ‌as‌ ‌it‌ ‌is, or if its debunked!‌
