Yep, it's been confirmed. Rainbow Six Siege will be coming to Game Pass on console and Android via Cloud Gaming on October 22.
While there's no confirmation of the included version, the cheapest available bundle on the Xbox store is now the Deluxe Edition. If that's the version included in Game Pass, players can start off with 16 Operators already unlocked.
Microsoft also notes that the Game Pass 10% discount applies to all Yearly Passes, too, so you can get up to speed and save some cash.
Original Story Follows:
Rainbow Six Siege could be coming to Xbox Game Pass, as suggested by a bizarre and cryptic tweet.
The Xbox Game Pass account recently tweeted an image of a medieval siege (complete with a catapult), with six rainbows over the top.
Is Rainbow Six Siege Coming To Xbox Game Pass?
You can check out the tweet below:
Ubisoft's tactical shooter has been constantly updated since launching in December of 2015, and it's become one of the most popular titles in the publisher's catalog.
With PS5 and Xbox Series X versions on the horizon, it's perhaps no surprise that Ubisoft is looking to bring more players into the game.
If the tweet is to be believed (and it feels too deliberate to suggest that it's anything but Siege), will it be the Xbox version or will the game come to Xbox Game Pass for PC, too?
We also wonder which version of the game would be included, since there are multiple versions with a variety of the game's Operators (characters) included.
In any case, we'll update this article when we hear more.
For more on Rainbow Six Siege, we recently spoke to several members of the development team about the additions that Operation Shadow Legacy brings to the game, as well as where Siege could go next.
