Prime Day rumbles on…

The name Prime Day might imply a 24 hour period of offerings, but this year Amazon has stretched its annual sales event over 48 hours - I guess Prime Days wasn't as catchy?

The good news is that you’ve got a whole extra day to save money on a load of products. From hard drives to headsets, we’ve seen discounts across a wide variety of categories on the Amazon site, and there's still plenty of great savings out there.

Make sure to follow @GfinityDeals for the latest Prime Day 2020 deals as they go live, and remember you need to have Amazon Prime to take advantage of these savings.

If you’re not yet a Prime member, that’s not a problem, you can get a 30-day FREE trial right here and start saving without having to pay anything extra.

Below you’ll find our picks of the top deals so far from the second day of Amazon Prime Day 2020…

SEGA Mega Drive Mini - Was £57.99, Now £49.99

Console deals have been surprisingly thin on the ground this Prime Day, with even the soon to be last-gen PS4 and Xbox One not receiving much in the way of discounts, but this saving on the SEGA Mega Drive Mini is worth a look.

This miniature machine modelled after the classic console is sure to bring back nostalgic memories for anyone who grew up as a ‘SEGA kid’, or alternatively it’s the perfect way to get a youngun into retro gaming.

The console comes preloaded with 40 of the best Mega Drive games around, including of course everyone’s favourite blue hedgehog.

Logitech G502 HERO gaming mouse - Was £79.99, Now £49.99

Prime Day 2020 has seen very significant savings on a whole range of PC accessories, and this discount on the Logitech G502 HERO gaming mouse is another very tasty deal on a PC gaming essential.

With 11 programmable buttons and a dual model hyper-fast scroll wheel, we’d probably have been recommending this mouse even at full whack, at 38% off it’s a no-brainer.

Madden NFL 21 (Download Code, Xbox One) - Was £59.99, Now £40.19

Madden NFL 21 may only be a few weeks old, but Prime Day has already seen the price of the latest release in EA’s annual American football series drop considerably.

This offer is only for the digital version of the game on Xbox One, but you will get a FREE upgrade to the next-gen version if you buy a Series X or Series S later this year.

Unfortunately, the same discount has not been applied to the PS4 edition of the game, so if you’re a Madden fan hopefully you’ve got an Xbox.

Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Was £49.99, Now £18.99

If there’s one thing you can guarantee on Prime Day it’s steep discounts on Amazon’s own products, and right now the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) is the cheapest it’s ever been at just £18.99.

This is a great entry-level smart speaker and the perfect way to start turning your house into a ‘smart home’. If you really want to create ‘the home of the future’ why not buy a few and dot them around the place!

LG 55inch OLED 4K Smart TV + FREE Nintendo Switch Bundle - Was £1699, Now £1508

Okay, so this deal might not technically be part of Prime Day 2020 but it’s too good a saving for us not to flag up.

Not only is the impressive LG OLED55CX6LA Smart TV down from £1699 to £1508 at Currys PC World, but right now you’ll also get a Nintendo Switch (bundled with Animal Crossing and Minecraft) thrown in for FREE.

This LG Ultra HD television is perfect for the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X and we’ll be shocked if we see a better deal on it this side of Christmas.
