The VR hit Beat Saber released in May of 2018.
Two years on the developer, Beat Games, announced they will be adding a multiplayer mode to the game.
I haven't got a proper VR set yet but I might have to now just to unleash my competitive side.
Here's everything we know about Beat Saber Multiplayers release date.
Along with the announcement of multiplayer, a teaser trailer was uploaded to Youtube.

The trailer doesn't show much in terms of the multiplayer mode but it still looks awesome.
BeatSaber has not tweeted that the PSVR portion of the multiplayer has been delayed to some time in January of 2021!
They noted the following:
Dear PS VR players, we're so sorry that multiplayer is still not available for PS4. Bringing MP to PS4 is a priority for us, but development is taking much longer than we’d expected. We're trying to deliver multiplayer in January if everything goes to plan.
In September of 2018, just four months after the release, the devs revealed that the multiplayer mode was 85% complete.
We can't wait to see where this goes, maybe it will open up competitions for pros at the game?
This could become an online version of the Dance Dance Revolution battles that took place in arcades!
