How many galaxies will you have to travel through to collect all the stars in Super Mario Galaxy?

Super Mario 3D All-Stars was announced September 3rd.

It's a remake containing Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy and is playable on the Nintendo Switch.

How Many Stars Are There?

Overall you can collect 121 stars.

Some players say you can get 242, due to playing the game through again with Luigi.

How Many Worlds/Galaxies Are There?

The main hub for the game is the Comet Observatory.

It's a spaceship containing six domes which lead to the 42 worlds/galaxies.
