The company has released a new deep-dive video showcasing the console's speed in comparison to the Xbox One S, and has been testing it on The Outer Worlds, Obsidian's 2019 RPG that suffers from some long wait times.
Xbox Series S Speed Showcased In New Video
You can check the video out for yourself at around the 3:50 mark.
The Series S loads the game within 12 seconds, while the One S takes almost a minute. That's a hefty 77% faster.
The game is also being enhanced for Series S and Series X, although we don't know if the demo shows the optimised version or not.
Interestingly, it also seems as though the Xbox Series S will be faster than the PlayStation 5.
It's been quite the week for Microsoft after the company revealed both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X will both launch on November 10, along with pre-orders beginning on September 22.
