Black Ops Cold War gameplay has given us great insight as to what is in store for us this November.
As we return back to the Cold War era, we can get a glimpse of what game modes will be in the full game during the Open Beta.
Here are the confirmed game modes in Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer.
All Confirmed Game Modes In Black Ops Cold War
So far, only a few game modes have been leaked, here are the rumoured and confirmed modes so far:
- Team Deathmatch
- Kill Confirmed
- Ground War
- Search & Destroy
Black Ops Cold War is reviving some of the most familiar game modes, including one new one called 'VIP'.
VIP is an extraction based mode where players must escort a player to the extraction point.
It appears to be the only game mode where players will go into a downed state and can be revived; similar to Blackout in Black Ops 4.
Team Deathmatch will return, pitting two teams of 6 (or more) against each other in a simple kill or be killed mode. The team with the most kills will win the game.
Its sister game mode, Kill Confirmed, will task players with doing the same thing but require them to collect dog tags off of fallen enemies to score points on the board.
Hardpoint is back, which is seen as the spiritual successor to King of the Hill. This new version is rumoured to indicate much more clearly where the next hardpoint is going.
Ground War is returning, although it's unknown if it will be on the scale of Modern Warfare.
Control makes a return, as one of the go-to modes for the Call of Duty World League in 2019.
New mode 'Fireteam' is a new 40 player category of Black Ops Cold War with up to 10 teams of four, where the action is centered around not just the operators in the field, but the environment too.
