Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War is confirmed to be happening at some point when the game hits shelves around the world.
So what's in store for you?
When Will Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War Start?
Season 1's start date is currently unknown at this time, due to the fact we haven't had an official confirmation on how it will work.
The Season 1 Battle Pass is mentioned in pre-order bundles, however.
So we anticipate the start date will either be at launch or shortly after.
Modern Warfare's debut season began a month after launch.
What's Included In Season 1?
As was the theme last year, we're expecting a variety of new content throughout the season.
The most important feature is the Battle Pass. This will give players access to new cosmetics to sport in the game for your guns, Operators, vehicles and much more.
New weapons will also be added to shake things up - although it's hard to see two new weapons added from launch, so Season 1 may either not include weapons or the start date will be delayed for a few weeks.
Like Modern Warfare, there will likely be a 100-tier battle pass with a free and premium option; which can be bought with COD points.
We'll also get new DLC maps, which some leakers have speculated will be comprised of past Black Ops maps.
A featured Operator will also be included in the Premium Battle Pass, which if history is any indicator, will likely consist of a well-known character from the Black Ops franchise.
All new DLC content will be free to players on all platforms.
However, if you wish to buy the battle pass, it will likely cost 900 COD Points.
All content is universal, meaning what is unlocked in this Battle Pass will be available in Warzone.
The story of each season will likely revolve around the evolution of this mode.
