Update: Trailer Leaks
Thanks to leaker @WalkingCat on Twitter, we've got a closer look at the Xbox Series S
Check it out below!
Xbox Series S, Microsoft's cheaper alternative to the Xbox Series X, has finally been revealed.
Following a leak last night that showed the size of the console relative to the Series X (60% smaller), the official Xbox Twitter account finally shared both the console's design and the price.
Xbox Series S Finally Revealed, Will Retail For £249/$299
You can see Microsoft's tweet below, which notes that the Series S is the smallest Xbox console ever.
The tweet also promises more news "soon", and while we have a look at the box and the price, there's plenty we don't yet know.
For one, we don't know the specs of the box or what it's capable of, although as predicted there is no disc drive.
For reference, that price is actually lower than the Xbox One X's current price on Microsoft's store, a console which is currently the most powerful on the market.
The Windows Central report also notes that Xbox All Access will be a big factor in Microsoft's pricing strategy for the coming generation and that both Series S and Series X will launch on November 10.
This monthly finance option will bundle together Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and the Series S for $25 per month, while the Series X will be $35 per month.
The Xbox Series S is one of gaming's worst-kept secrets, having been predicted since 2018 and revealed through the packaging in the last few weeks.
