Kate Bishop’s on the case.

Crystal Dynamics announced the latest addition to its post-release Marvel’s Avengers roster on Tuesday: Kate Bishop.

Kate Bishop Is Coming to Marvel’s Avengers

In the comics universe, Bishop is Clint Barton’s protégé as well as a carrier of the Hawkeye mantle. Both characters will be playable in Marvel’s Avengers.

“The Avengers Initiative will evolve over time for years to come,” Crystal Dynamics said in a blog post on Monday.

“Each addition combines and builds over time to a much larger series of story arcs.”

Bishop — voiced by Horizon Zero Dawn star Ashly Burch — will be the first downloadable Avenger to get added to the game after launch.

Kate and Clint will each get a Hero Operation storyline of their own, but Crystal Dynamics describes theirs as a unique kind of “double feature.”

The game arrives September 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia, so we can expect Bishop to show up to the party shortly after that.
