Get ready to drop.

The revamped Erangel 2.0 map is coming in the very next PUBG Mobile update, the game’s developers announced on Friday.

In a press release from Monday, Erangel 2.0 is described as “an overhaul delivering a fully refined battlefield experience that will have classic Erangel features feeling fresh once more.”

New Revamped ‘Erangel 2.0’ Changes and Features

The new version of the map will feature all-new structures and environmental elements, changes to resource spawns, and updated visuals.

Some the environmental changes include “trenches, tree-trunk barriers, abandoned tanks, and bunkers,” according to the release.

Changes to loot will be most noticeable at Sosnovka Military Base, Mylta Power, the mansion, the prison, and the mine zone.

Aside from that, Tencent says players can expect a lot of small quality-of-life improvements, more attractive visuals, and a “smoother” gameplay experience overall.

The new update with Erangel 2.0 goes live on September 8.
