Cyberpunk 2077: How To Adjust Text Size In Subtitles

No need to strain your eyes in Cyberpunk 2077.

It's pretty infuriating when you're in a loud environment and miss out on something said in your game.

There are subtitles but sometimes they're hard to see.

Well CD Projekt Red have taken this into account when creating Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red Confirms Customisable Subtitles

A common trend in many modern games is small text sizes.

Now, for many of us, this isn't an issue but for those with bad eyesight, it can really ruin their experience.

I myself have had difficulty being able to read what's on the screen simply because my TV isn't close enough.

This is a problem with subtitles, quest objectives and more.

Well don't fret, CD Projekt Red confirmed on Twitter that Cyberpunk 2077 will have adjustable text size for subtitles.

This came about when a fan showed concern over the subtitle size in game-play previews.

Many other prospective players chimed in and expressed the same worries.

"You'll be able to adjust those (color / size)" stated the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account.

Currently, it seems that subtitles will be the only text that can be customised, but fingers crossed they make it universal for quests, etc.

This really is an important feature and other developers should take note.

Many of those who are deaf or hard of hearing depend on subtitles, they shouldn't be an afterthought.

How To Adjust Text Size In Subtitles

We expect the customisation to be pretty simple.

You'll likely have to navigate to the settings menu and we expect there to be an interface/text menu.

There, players can increase or decrease the size and change the colour of the text.
