Coming to you guys this Fall.

Fall Guys Season 2 will arrive in October and bring to players a bean-filled Medieval theme!

Mediatonic's strangely addictive game has been praised worldwide and received incredibly well by the gaming community for its whacky take on the battle royale genre.

Get ready to jump, dive, run and survive against bean-shaped Dragons, Wizards and Vikings and many more that have been teased.

The next season could see many new features added such as cross-platform play, new platforms, custom lobbies and a mobile version!

While cheaters appear to be running rampant and may set to deter players away from the next season, Fall Guys has managed to crack down on those playing unlawfully.

While there's still some mystery about what awaits us in the new season, the 'Big Yeetus And Anti-Cheatus' Mid Season Update is a sign that we're in good hands.

Here's what we know about Season 2 of Fall Guys.

When Does Fall Guys Season 2 Start?

Season 1 of Fall Guys began on the 4th August and will end once the new season begins; meaning it will have lasted for 2 weeks.

Check out the sneak peek trailer that aired at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2020.

Fall Guys is only available on PC and PS4 at this time; with the game being the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time.

We're expecting new platforms to join this elite club soon, with the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch up next.

Mobile devices will surely receive the game in the future, as China has already been granted the license to develop a mobile version called 'Jelly Bean Man: Ultimate Knock Out'.

The new season will be free-to-play for anyone that owns the game.

In-game purchases may be present.

What's New?

The latest Fall Guys theme is Medieval, meaning the costumes and stages will be themed around this famous time period.

Standout features are yet to be set in concrete, but a few updates have popped out of Mediatonic headquarters that may give us a hint.

Big Yeetus

Fall Guys official Twitter account detailed that developer Mediatonic is "working on a little something that we have been calling Big Yeetus,".

This is a gigantic hammer that will randomly appear in levels to shake things up.

It can massively change up the game by punting players across the stage.

While it seems like this is a joke, it looks very serious and could arrive in the next season.

New Season Pass

As they did in Season 1 a new pass will be added with plenty of new costumes and other rewards for you to unlock.

Custom Lobbies

Custom Lobbies may be added to Fall Guys at some point in the future.

While it's ambitious to expect it in Season 2, we can always be optimistic that it may arrive in this new update.

In an interview with The Loadout, Joe Walsh who works for Mediatonic; the developer behind Fall Guys. Joe had a lot of interesting information regarding the game's future, including some details on the release of custom lobbies.

"Fall Guys is ultimately a TV show, and people want to be the director, they want to run their own show. We totally hear the demand for that, but it'll take us a little while to figure out what that looks like exactly. But it's on our list of things to do."

This would be an amazing feature that would allow players to compete against their friends in new and whacky ways.

Again, while it's tough to see this being added in Season 2, it's a big possibility with huge potential once more platforms are added.

Joe Walsh who works for Fall Guy's developer Mediatonic noted the following in an interview with The Loadout:

"We're still committed to it. I think we're committed to it even more than we were before."

However, Joe also notes that there is "nothing new on that front, I'm afraid,".

So as of now, we know they are working on the cross-play feature so that is always a plus!

Season 2 Rewards

We're expecting up to 40 new items to become available in Season 2, unlocked by progressing through episodes and levelling up.

Season 1 included the following rewards:

  • 3 Crowns
  • 2 Emotes
  • 1 Celebration
  • 5 Lower costume parts
  • 5 Upper costume parts
  • 2 Faceplates
  • 7 Colours

Players will again need to collect Fame to rank up their Season Pass

Here are some of the skins showcased in the sneak peek trailer from Gamescom Opening Night:

ODIN IS WITH US: Channeling their inner Assassin's Creed?

YOU'RE A WIZARD HARRY: Are we getting a special Hogwarts themed stage too?

DRAGON BORD: Skyrim called, they want their dragon back

BEWITCHED: This costume is certainly getting in the mood for Halloween

VIQUEEN: Completing the Viking set is the Viking's other-half

GOOD KNIGHT: Hopefully there's a stage about jousting...

We'd love to see some crossovers with popular franchises, of which we've already seen occur.

Here are some of our suggestions:

  • Marvel/DC
  • Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit
  • Nintendo/Pokemon
  • Star Wars

Shop Changes

The Shop should receive regular updates to spend your Kudos and Crowns on customisation options.

New Stages

There are currently 24 stages in Fall Guys and we'll see some new ones added.

Here are some of the rounds shown in the sneak peek trailer from Gamescom Opening Night:

KING OF THE CASTLE: Players will need to climb up and over the castle walls

A KNIGHT'S TALE: An adventure awaits for players in a long foot race with plenty of obstacles

PLAYING HOOPS: It looks like this next stage is a team game focusing on hoops

DOOR DASH 2.0?: It looks like Door Dash is back and more frustrating than before...

BIG YEETUS 2.0: Oh god, not another one...

Season 1 will come to an end once the second season begins.
