Get ready to battle it out in the Free Fornite Cup!

Due to Apple removing Fortnite from its mobile store, Epic has set up a new event.

This comes a week before Chapter 2 Season 4, an update that iOS users may miss out on.

The #FreeFornite event will be to mark the moment mobile players get left behind.

There's a load to look forward to including some insane rewards.

Here's what we know.

The Free Fortnite Cup begins Sunday the 23rd of August.

It will last for roughly four hours and is live now.

Players in all regions that score 10 points will get the delicious Tart Tycoon Outfit.

The highest-scoring players across regions will get the #FreeFortnite hat.

This is a physical prize and will be shipped to the winners home.

1,200 pieces of gaming hardware (phones, consoles, and PC’s) will also be given away.

  • Alienware Gaming Laptop
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S7
  • OnePlus 8 - 90FPS on a phone
  • PlayStation 4 Pro
  • Xbox One X
  • Nintendo Switch

FireMonkey, a well known Fornite data miner, shared a more detailed look at the prizes in a Twitter post.

You'll find the #FreeFortnite Cup Playlist in the Compete tab once the event launches.

Players can compete for a maximum of 12 times.

Here's how the scoring works:

  • Active Time - 1 point for every 3 minutes on the BR island.
  • Eliminations - 1 point per Elimination
  • Victory Royale - 10 points for each Victory Royale
