Activision Announces Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War

’Bout time.

An unlisted teaser trailer has been found. Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War does indeed exist, and they’re even going to show it to us.

The worldwide reveal is set for August 26. ’Bout time.

In a brief two-minute video posted to Twitter, YouTube creator NoahJ456 explains how he and other members of the Call of Duty Zombies community solved the ARG and found the teaser.

“The big reveal is happening in Verdansk, next week on August 26, in-game,” Noah J. says in the clip. “That’s when they’re gonna be revealing it.”

He adds, “This has been literally a week’s worth of work.”

After Fortnite’s world map got devoured by a black hole, and Destiny 2 blew up a sun-killing superweapon in the skies above its social hub, things could get interesting when this reveal event kicks off.

Black Ops: Cold War is set to launch in 2020.
