During Season 5, a brand new assault rifle returns to the game called the AN-94.
It returns for another outing in the Call of Duty franchise, returning for the first time since Black Ops 2.
Warzone allows players to customise and personalise the weapons you'll use on the battlefield. This means you can get a massive advantage over others when it comes to your loadout.
Primary Weapon
AN-94 Assault Rifle
We'll have to wait and see how the community receives this new weapon, but there is a very high possibility that this will become the new meta.
The attachment's you'll want to use are:
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- AN-94 Factory X-438mm (Barrel)
- VLK 3.0 (Optic)
- Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- 60 Round Casket Mags (Ammunition)
Overall, these attachments will allow you to take out enemies at medium to long-range. However, these attachments don't perform too well at close range, so we recommend you also bring an SMG to the fight.
Secondary Weapon
MP5 Submachine Gun
With its high mobility and 45 round magazine, you'll have no trouble sending your enemies straight to the Gulag!
The attachment's you'll want to use are:
- Monolithic Integral Suppressor (Barrel)
- Tac Laser (Laser)
- FTAC Collapsible (Stock)
- Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- 45 Round Mags (Ammunition)
This setup compliments the MP5's close-range ability very well and will allow you to get aggressive when playing in tight spaces.
Grenades
Lethal
There's no doubt that the C4 is the best lethal equipment to take at the moment. Its ability to take out vehicles is unmatched, allowing for some crazy multi-kills.
The C4 can also be used to clear out buildings and weaken enemies before you decide to enter.
Tactical
For your tactical equipment, we recommend choosing the Heartbeat Sensor. This is particularly useful in the earlier stages of the game, as it gives you a huge advantage over someone who doesn't have this utility.
You'll want to keep in mind that anyone with the Cold-Blooded perk will not appear on the sensor. This is particularly noticeable in the later stages of the game.
Perks
Your perks will give you a massive advantage in Warzone, so choosing the right ones is key.
The three we recommend you use are:
- Cold Blooded (Perk 1)
- Overkill (Perk 2)
- Tracker (Perk 3)
Cold Blooded will allow you to stay hidden by thermal scopes. This will keep your position hidden, and help with crossing otherwise treacherous areas with minimal cover.
Finally, Tracker allows you to hunt down any sneaky enemies. If someone's hiding in a corner, you'll see their footsteps and be able to pick up a free kill.
