Ready to have rap like a Viking? Get ready, as you'll have to in Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is bringing tonnes of Viking traditions to our screens.

Even going as far as... Viking rap battles?

This looks to be a really fun new feature. Here's all the info we have so far!

Viking Rap Battles/Flyting

What is flyting? Better known now by the community as Viking rap battles.

Valhalla comes with this fun new addition, the original name being 'flyting', a battle of wits.

The official definition in the Collins dictionary is "A formalized exchange of taunts, insults, etc., as between warriors in Old English epics".

Assassin's Creed has always been heavily focused on the main gameplay and story, lacking much else to do outside of that.

The aim of flyting is to insult your opponent but it's must be with rhythms.

In-game you will have to choose between three options within a time limit, so think quick!

Here's some gameplay of the new feature by Dan Allen Gaming on Youtube:

Game Director Ashraf Ismail gave us a rundown on what flyting is and how it works on Twitter:

We cant wait to try out this new mechanic for ourselves and expect we will waste a bit to much time doing so!
