Epic Games have announced Fortnite Summer Splash 2020, a new limited-time Summer themed event for players to dive into.

Epic Games have announced Fortnite Summer Splash 2020, a new limited-time Summer themed event for players to dive into.

New events in Fortnite is always exciting and this is no different.

The event brings with it a number of new LMT game modes and a range of new and returning cosmetic items.

Let's check out what this event has to offer.

 

New and Classic LMT Game Modes

Epic Games have announced the Summer event will bring a rotation of limited-time modes.

These will include:

  • Fog of War (Formerly Sneaky Silencers)
  • Close Encounters
  • Unvaulted
  • Catch

Some of these modes players may recognise from past events.

Epic has stated they'll be the same except with some Summer Splash refreshment and some new features.

These are just the modes Epic Games have revealed. There is sure to be more on top of those stated.

A number of brand new LTM will arrive in a future update.

These will include a new take on Operation: Knockout, a reel 'em in royale, and a game of elimination-powered upgrades.

With so many game modes to get stuck into, Summer Splash is looking like an exciting event.

  • Fog of War - 6th and 7th (Solo)
  • High Explosives - 8th and 9th (Squad)
  • Close Encounters - 10th and 11th (Duos)
  • Close Encounters - 12th and 13th (Squads)
  • Sniper Shootout -14th and 15th (Solo)
  • Sniper Shootout - 16th and 17th (Duos)
  • Unvaulted - 18th and 19th (Duos)
  • Unvaulted - 20th and 21st (Squads)
  • Blitz - 22nd and 23rd (Solo)

New and Returning Summer Outfits

New Fortnite skins are always a good thing and Summer Splash doesn't look like it'll disappoint in the skin department.

The event will bring a number of Summer, sand, sea, sport and food-related outfits to the game.

Not only that, but a few popular outfits of the past will also be returning to the store.

These include the Summer Drift and Beach Bomber outfits.
