New Screenshots have been leaked of the Pokemon inspired MOBA game thanks to a user on the ResetEra gaming forum.

According to the user, the screenshots come from a leaked video.

The screenshots confirm the existence of generation VIII Pokemon with the inclusion of Drednaw. They also show off the ability to customise your character - Nihilego_Khu confirmed some items are limited seasonal costumes obtained by ranking in seasonal battle league.

Finally, the user also confirmed that internal tests begin this month, with the game releases in Spring 2021.

What Is It?

In a surprise announcement during the beginning of the Pokemon Presents show, Pokemon Unite was announced and it is Pokemon's first game in the MOBA genre.

Similar to games such as League of Legends and Dota 2, this seems to be Nintendo's take on this style of game.

It will be a 5V5 game where players will have to battle it out against other players and wild Pokemon on the map. Similar to other MOBA's your character is going to level up during the match and can evolve and learn moves.

The winner of a match is decided by how many points they have at the end of the match!
