Animal Crossing New Horizons shows no sign of slowing down, with yet another event kicking off very soon.

Once you've updated your island, look for a bulletin board message announcing that the event has begun.

It'll be occurring on the third weekend of the month for the next few months. Here are the dates:

Northern Hemisphere:

  • June 27
  • July 25
  • August 22
  • September 26

Southern Hemisphere

  • November 21
  • December 19
  • January 16
  • February 20

First entry is free, but you'll need to drop 500 Bells to take place every time after.

On the day of the event, chat to Flick to learn the rules. Essentially you'll want to catch as many bugs as possible within three minutes, with each one worth a point and a bonus of 2 points if you catch three or more.

Afterwards, swap your points with Flick to earn random clothing, items, or decorations for your home.

But what about the bugs? They're all sent to Flick's bug cage, and you can then either keep them for yourself or sell them to Flick at an increased rate.
