Isle of Armor: How To Increase Nintendo Switch Storage For The DLC

Here are our best deals to mark the release of Pokemon's first-ever DLC.

Pokémon’s first-ever expansion, the Isle of Armor, is dropping at some point today and we couldn’t be more excited for old Pokémon to make an appearance in the Galar Region.

To celebrate its launch and the Pokemon announcements coming later today, here are our best Pokémon deals for today!

Deals of the Day

£22 Off SanDisk SD Card

While the Pokémon DLC doesn’t take up too much space, if you’ve already maxed out your Switch’s storage, deciding which game to uninstall can be a pretty tough decision.

The Switch has a base storage capacity of 32GB and considering the size of modern-day titles, this is barely enough to hold many digital games.

When I first bought an SD Card for my Switch, they were still pretty expensive and so I grabbed one that held 32GB, only for it to quickly fill up with the whole host of fantastic first-party Nintendo titles released onto the Switch.

Seeing a 128GB SD Card going for just £18.95-down from £40.99- is an absolutely insane deal you won’t want to miss. Making use of this offer will mean you’ll never have to delete a game or your screenshots again.

If you’re worried it this SD Card will make your games run slower, SanDisk promise transfer rates of up to 100MB/s to ensure you jump into the action as soon as you load up the game.

Unlike other SD Cards, it actually looks pretty cool, too.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass Offers Extra In-Game Rewards

If you haven’t picked up your copy of the Sword and Shield DLC, make sure to secure it now. If you buy the Expansion Pass before launch, you can pre-load the Isle of Armor DLC before it releases today, and also pre-load the Crown Tundra DLC before its launch later this year.

If you’ve played the base Pokémon Sword or Shield game, you’ll know that the best part of the Galar region was exploring the Wild Area. These two expansions both lead all-new expeditions into new locations that play in the same way as the Wild Area, meaning there’ll be no boring routes or locations as there was in the base game.

The Expansion Pass also comes with new exclusive uniforms featuring Pikachu and Eevee for your trainer to wear. You’ll also get access to clothing based on Leon’s iconic cap and tights if you pre-purchase the Expansion Pass before August 31!

Charmander Pop! Figure Is Cheap!

Pokémon finally made the jump to Funko Pop! last year, and they immediately sold out everywhere.

They seem to be resurfacing on Amazon now for a great price, and so it’s worth picking up this cute Charmander Pop! to protect your desk or gaming setup!
