Destiny 2 Felwinter's Lie glitch has riled up the game's community

Felwinter's Lie is too good to be true, as it turns out.

UPDATE: As of Hotfix 2.8.1.3, "The Lie" has been fixed.

Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy offered up a quest to earn Felwinter's Lie last week, but a glitch has stopped players in their tracks.

Fans have been reporting that the grind-heavy quest, that requires literally millions of public event clears from the community, is breaking at the point where players are sent to the Moon to complete a mission called "The Tyrant".

That's disappointed the game's community, who had already expressed less than positive reactions to the lengthy quest for a weapon that was originally an Iron Banner reward in the first game.

Here's hoping the team is able to push out a fix in the coming days, but it's worth noting that while the quest being bugged is an inconvenience for die-hard fans, Bungie's team are working from home and are likely working as quickly as they can.
