Ubisoft's "Ubisoft Forward" event is replacing the company's usual E3 conference. Here's what we know so far.

E3 2020 might have been cancelled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there's still plenty to look forward to in its place; such as Ubisoft Forward.

Multiple publishers are hosting their own digital events instead, and this time we're looking at Ubisoft. What can we expect, how can you watch, and when does it all take place?

Let's go over everything we know, and be sure to check back as the event edges closer for new information on what the company has to come in 2020 and beyond.

When is Ubisoft Forward?

Ubisoft Forward, the company's digital event, will kick off on July 12 – meaning it's a month later than a standard E3 conference.

The event kicks off at 12 PM PDT or at 8 PM BST.

How Can You Watch Ubisoft Forward?

While no official platform for the stream has been revealed yet, we'd wager it's a safe bet to find it on Ubisoft's YouTube channel.

Which games will Ubisoft show?

Ubisoft is somewhat of an anomaly, as we already know multiple titles that are in development that were shunted back because of the poor critical and commercial performance of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in 2019.

That means we can almost certainly expect to see Rainbow Six: Quarantine (expect a new title, given the current circumstances), Watch Dogs: Legion and Gods and Monsters.

Skull and Bones, the publisher's naval combat title, has also been MIA for some time. Expect an update on Beyond Good and Evil 2 as well.

Of course, the big draw is likely to be Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, with the Viking-themed adventure disappointing at Microsoft's recent Inside Xbox event. Expect full gameplay at the event.

Elsewhere, there's likely to be fresh teases for Rainbow Six: Siege, The Division 2, and perhaps a surprise to close things out – here's hoping it's the Splinter Cell game that fans have been calling out for.

We're also expecting Far Cry 6 to be announced.

Free Copy Of Watch Dogs 2

A free copy of Watch Dogs 2 will be available to anybody who logs into their Uplay account at any point between the pre-show and the end of the main conference.

Viewers will also be able to answer trivia questions to unlock rewards in various Ubisoft games.

Hyper Scape

Ubisoft has recently revealed their new Battle Royale title Hyper Scape.

The release date of the title aligns with the Ubisoft Foward event on July 12th.

The game will be set in a futuristic virtual world and involve fast-paced FPS gameplay.

It will be a free-to-play title, which will likely contain a number of microtransaction options for players.

The game will initially be released for just PC.

However, it is likely the game will be released on consoles at a later date and crossplay will be available.

It's always exciting to see a new FPS on the horizon, let's hope Hyper Scape can live up to the hype.
