Wondering how to watch EA Play 2020 and what to expect? We've got you covered.

E3 2020 might have been cancelled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there's still plenty to look forward to in its place.

Multiple publishers are hosting their own digital events instead, and this time we're looking at EA. What can we expect, how can you watch, and when does it all take place?

Let's go over everything we know, and be sure to check back as the event edges closer for new information on what the company has coming in 2020 and beyond.

When is EA Play?

EA Play kicks off on June 18th at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET/12 AM BST – meaning we'll have to tune in at midnight in the UK.

Originally, the event was meant to air on the 11th but has been pushed back due to the important conversations taking place in the world.

How Can You Watch EA Play?

EA Play will be streamed over at EA.com, as well as presumably via the publisher's YouTube channel.

Which Games Will EA show?

Here's the fun part. EA is almost certainly going to show something from their sports titles, so expect flashy trailers for FIFA 21, Madden 21, and NHL 21. We'd expect more information about how next-generation consoles will improve those titles, too.

EA also has the potential to show something Star Wars, with Project Maverick having leaked on the PlayStation Store. This looks to offer a "smaller, more unusual project" according to a Kotaku report. EA Vancouver is also working on a Star Wars project, codenamed Viking.

We also could get a tease for a new Battlefield, with a game in the franchise expected in 2021, while it looks as though a Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster is also coming. Don't count out more Sims 4 DLC, too.

Oh, and expect more Switch releases. Burnout Paradise is coming to Nintendo's hybrid console in the near future, but the company has pledged 14 titles to the console.
