Apex Legends: PS5 and Xbox Series X versions confirmed by Respawn job listing?

Apex Legends is incredibly popular on current-gen consoles, but a new job listing suggests it'll make the jump to next-gen.

Apex Legends Season 5 could be coming in early May, but Respawn is looking further ahead – at least according to a new job listing.

EA, the game's publisher, has its own recruitment website with a current listing for a "senior rendering engineer" at Respawn.

You can find the listing here, but the key statement is below:

“Respawn is looking for Senior Rendering Engineers to push next-gen platforms and the PC to their limits on Apex Legends.”

Its perhaps not all that surprising given the squad-based battle royale's success since launching in 2019, but Xbox Series X and PS5 owners could get a better-looking game – the listing asks for a "shader enthusiast" and makes reference to "maintaining or improving visual fidelity". Could the game be due a graphics bump?
