Cyberpunk 2077 is the next title from Polish publishers CD Projekt Red, and it is set to launch on September 17.
We've started to see more Cyberpunk 2077-themed hardware appear in recent months, most notably a futuristic Xbox One controller popping up in early April.
But now, tech manufacturer SteelSeries is revealing the game’s official headset, and it's based on none other than rocker boy Johnny Silverhand.
It's great to see that current-gen isn't being left behind after it was confirmed that an updated version of the game will launch on Xbox series X.
As described in a new post from Xbox's Director of Programming Larry Hryb, the Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox Johnny Silverhand Edition is inspired by Keanu Reeves’ character in the game.
The design is purposefully scuffed up and branded with a “no future” logo on one ear cup and a demon-like creature on the other.
“Samurai” is embossed across its headband, serving as a nod to Johnny's rock group in the desktop game.
The headset features lossless 2.4GHz wireless with ultra-low latency on both Xbox and PC.
There is also a detachable ClearCast noise-cancelling microphone and a steel-reinforced headband, leaving some options for customization.
Due to the “extremely limited” nature of the reveal, pre-orders are starting at $109.99.
