Start playing Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary on PC today with the latest Master Chief Collection beta update.

In recent months, Halo has gained a lot of traction on PC with the launch of The Master Chief Collection, and while Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo: Reach are the two titles included so far, Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary are joining the Insider program today.

That means if you're in the beta program you'll be able to start playing both the standard and remastered versions of Halo 2 today – or at least parts of them. Not in the program? Good news, you can sign up here.

The news comes from Tyler Davis on Twitter, 343i's Community Support and Engagement Coordinator. He posted the following tweet.

Lock and load, Marines!

A reminder that Halo: Master Chief Collection is available through Windows 10, Steam, or Xbox Game Pass for PC, while the full package is available in one place on Xbox One (also available through Game Pass).
