Fallout 76's big Wastelanders update is coming, but it'll now be arriving a little later.

Despite already being delayed from 2019, Fallout 76's Wastelanders release date has been pushed back again due to the company moving to remote working to ensure employee safety amid coronavirus concerns.

Thankfully, it's just by a week, meaning the release date is now April 14 instead of April 7.

Considering the current state of the world in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's perhaps unsurprising that video games would be affected – especially given Fallout 76's nature as an ever-evolving online title.

In a tweet, Bethesda Game Studios said:

“For the safety of everyone, we have transitioned to remote work, and are limiting our in-person interactions. However, this has affected our ability to do the final testing we need for Wastelanders, and we must move the release date a week, from April 7 to April 14. We’ve done everything we can to minimize the delay and can’t wait for everyone to play.”
