Animal Crossing New Horizons, the long-awaited game in the Animal Crossing series has finally released after years upon years of anticipation. 

Veterans of the series and newcomers have all been enjoying all the simple, relaxing components of New Horizons and they are all trying to make their town their own. 

Planting flowers is one of the many ways you can spruce up your town a bit; some of the flowers you can plant in New Horizons have the chance to be rare as well!

Hybrid Flowers

YouTuber AbdallahSmash026 was once again the leading force behind this Animal Crossing theory, he noted that you are going to need to have the standard Watering Can and Shovel to best do this trick. 

Hybrid flowers are essentially super rare flowers in the game that are displayed as a different color than the standard red, yellow and white flowers. The main color you can get is pink!

You are going to want to plant three regular flowers in a diagonal pattern, and do this for each color. To be better demonstrate this we'll post a picture below!

 

 

After you plant the flowers as pictured above, the spaces in-between each of the flowers is where Hybrid flowers have a chance to show up!

The only note that you should be mindful of, is that you should frequently water the flowers just to increase the chances they spawn a Hybrid.
