Looking for some extra spice, or just the chance to slice and dice? Knife-only runs are in Resident Evil 3: Remake.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is launching on April 3rd, meaning we have less than two weeks until we're face to face with the Nemesis.

Longtime fans will remember the challenge of beating the entire original PlayStation and Dreamcast game with just a knife, and there's good news on that front for cutlery-wielding masochists.

Can you complete Resident Evil 3: Remake with just a knife?

Good news – in an interview with Game Informer, producer Peter Fabiano confirmed that the knife is "inexhaustible" – unlike Resident Evil 2's more fragile one.

"We're dealing with survival horror and everything is exhaustible," the producer says. "So if you did run out of everything, what would you have? The knife. The director always wanted to make it so that you at least have your trusty knife. That’s always something you can rely on."

Looking to try the knife for yourself? The demo is out now.
