Apex Legends Season 4: Kings Canyon returns for a weekend, then joins Ranked Play

Apex Legends Season 4 is in full swing, but fans can take a trip down memory lane starting today.

Respawn Entertainment may have only brought Apex Legends' first map, Kings Canyon, back last month, but the OG killing fields are back for another go.

Things are a little different this time around, though – with this version of Kings Canyon being the Season 2 version, with Leviathans causing chaos again.

For the weekend of March 20 to March 23, you'll be able to jump into the classic map (can a map that's a year old be called a classic?) and lay waste to opponents like it's 2019 all over again.

Ranked fans will be able to continue playing in Kings Canyon from March 24 onwards, as it becomes the de facto map for that mode.

With Doom: Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons both launching today, will this tempt you into competing in the Apex Games again?
