Resident Evil 3 launches next month, but could a demo be infecting your console soon?

Update: Good news, everyone. Capcom has confirmed that a demo is landing on March 19th, followed by an open beta for Resident Evil Resistance on March 27.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is launching on April 3rd and is going to offer the same spine-chilling detail that last year's excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake got.

Expect plenty of zombies and other nasties to try and tear through you next month – but could a demo be coming this week?

Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo

According to AesthethicGamer1 on Twitter, a regular leaker of horror game-related news, a demo for the next Resi revamp could be landing on March 20th – that's this Friday!

With the game just weeks away, we're curious as to whether this will be a 'One Shot' demo like Resident Evil 2 got, or a multiplayer beta focused on the 'Resistance' portion of Resi 3 Remake.

If you didn't get to play the 'One Shot' demo, it offered a half-hour chunk of Resident Evil 2's campaign with a strict timer – once it was up, the demo would lock up.
