Destiny 2's Season of the Worthy is coming, and players are excited – Trials of Osiris is finally returning, while more fresh content is expected that focuses on Rasputin and Osiris, two of the game's most enigmatic characters.
If you were thinking that the game's almost-perfect shooting and movement mechanics were going to remain untouched though, you might be surprised at how deeply Bungie is looking at the game's subclasses.
While the game's trio of classes has remained since the first game (Warlock, Hunter, Titan), each offers their own trio of subclasses that offering varying elemental abilities and Super attacks.

Titan Changes for Season of the Worthy
Being objectively the best class (don't @ us), Titans are having their barricades nerfed big time.
They'll now take bonus damage from certain weapon types, so you can chip away at its 600HP much more quickly.
Sniper rifles, grenade launchers, linear fusion rifles, machine guns, trace rifles and any anti-barrier weapons will deal 30% extra damage, while shotguns and standard fusion rifles can tear through it with 60% damage boost.
Titan shoulder charge's auto-targeting angle is being reduced by 50%, making it a little bit trickier to hit. It's also now capable of hitting within 5.5 metres regardless of targeting.
Warlock Changes for Season of the Worthy
Warlock melee range is being increased to 5.5 metres, which makes the weakest melee attack of the three more useful in different situations.
This powerful ability is getting an increased activation time (0.6 seconds), reduced hold time (down to 2.5 seconds from 2.5), reduced range (20% drop), tightened horizontal spread of bolts by 25% and a reduced explosion radius from 3m to 2.5m. That final reduction is handy, as the explosion can now damage the user, too!
Hunter Changes for Season of the Worthy
The Hunter's Weighted Knife throwable is having its tracking algorithm changed to make it "more faithful to its initial throw trajectory", while tracking, in general, has been reduced.
These are now "sticky" again, so get practising with your throwing arm.
Bungie is actively working to make each of the subclass paths more viable in both PVE and PVP. Stormcaller's top-path, Striker's bottom-path, and Arcstrider's bottom-path will all be bought more in line with the others.
On another note, Armour 2.0 is changing, Bungie has acknowledged that the impact of acquiring, and min-maxing gear can be quite an arduous task as player collections grow, especially considering that armour also needs to drop with a specific elemental affinity.
With Destiny 2 Armour 2.0 revisions, players will be able to change the elemental affinity of their equipment (at a cost, obviously) and seasonal mod slots will cover the season in which the armour was found and the following season. This means you can hold on to that prime loot a little longer and the heartache of finding some better equipment with the wrong element will be a thing of the past.
