Fortnite's biggest star isn't holding back when it comes to his opinions on Chapter 2 Season 2.

Mixer streamer and Fortnite golden boy Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is typically a wonderful ambassador for the popular Battle Royale game.

That’s what makes his recent outburst about players criticising Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 2 update, calling the players “toxic” and “stupid little kids”, all the more surprising.

Chapter 2 Season 2 - What's new?

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 was the longest in the game's history, so it was no surprise that fans of the popular battle royale title were anxious to get their hands on new content.

Players were expecting some pretty major changes to help mix things up, as many had started to complain that Fortnite was becoming stale – despite huge map, weapon, and gameplay changes at the beginning of Chapter 2.

Season 2 brings with it a host of updates (including new spy missions and locations), but a sizeable number of fans felt that Epic hadn't changed enough.

Ninja has repeatedly stated that he feels Fortnite Season 2 has been to the benefit of the popular shooter, so has he grown tired of the constant complaints?

Ninja’s Comments

While Ninja was playing with SypherPK, Nate Hill, and Funk, he received a message from a viewer, asking him why he was still playing the Season after all the "let-downs."

The streamer immediately took umbrage with the statement, asking "What are you talking about? This is one of the best seasons and updates they've had in the last four seasons. This is better than nine, eight, ten.”

"These stupid little kids don't get it. They don't give it a chance, it's toxic.”

Clearly upset by the message, Ninja continued:

“It's not going anywhere; you might as well start playing it again because it's fun as sh*t.”

“The people who are still hating on this game are just ones that… didn't put the time in to get good at it, and are just complaining because they're not good."

Ninja is a big fan of Season 2's spy theme, are you?

Ninja’s Redemption

The 28-year-old cares about the way Fortnite is talked about and commentated on, likely owing to his rapid rise to superstardom on the back of the game’s undoubted popularity.

Ninja ended the discussion by saying "they're just haters man. This is the most fun this game has been in a long time. In a long time!”

These comments mirror his tweet of Feb 25, which praised the developers for introducing the new Agency location, and their decision to alter the loot pool to adds extra mobility to the game.
