Rainbow Six Quarantine was one of the biggest surprises of E3 2019, the spin-off of the popular game is set to release later this year, but we already know so much about it.
Let's go over everything we know about the newest Rainbow 6 co-op game.
What Is It?
Rainbow Six Quarantine is the newest spin-off from the Rainbow Six franchise, the game is a three-player co-operative horror survival game from what we know so far.
Although we're unsure exactly what the game is, you can probably hazard a guess that it's a Zombies experience. Very similar to the Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak event that took place in 2018.
The Outbreak event took place in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, with Rainbow tackling the epidemic that is ravaging the town. Teams of three are sent to combat the threat.
Besides the first trailer, we do not know much about this upcoming title.
There is no official date for the release of Rainbow Six Quarantine.
During Ubisoft's Q2 earnings report (on October 30, 2020) the company announced that it had moved both Rainbow Six Quarantine and Far Cry 6 to the 2021-22 year.
This was not a result of development problems, but rather a response to the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020.
Due to the timing, this would mean we won't see the game anytime before April 1, 2021
There has not been any confirmation about a beta from Ubisoft yet.
However. during the reveal, they noted that we would get to play Rainbow Six Quarantine sometime before it releases.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but be sure to keep your eyes out for any Ubisoft announcements in the coming weeks or months.
In the trailer the Operators Ela and Vigil are the two soldiers you see at the end - it has been confirmed that a lot of elements of Siege will return in this game and it appears the Operators will do too.
