Monster Hunter: World Iceborne is set to be the biggest DLC release ever for the game that originally released in 2018.
The expansion pack is already out on console, but for those playing on PC, you will have to wait until the new year to get your hands on this juicy DLC.
With brand new story missions, more monsters and much much more we'll take you through everything you need to know about Monster Hunter World Iceborn.
During an interview with Game Informer, one of Monster Hunter's producer Ryozo Tsujimoto noted "Iceborne basically completes World, so it will be the last expansion."
Now, although this may bum out some fans, this does not mean the series is going to conclude after Iceborn, we will just have to wait what free updates we will get in the future.
Hoarfrost Reach is the new area that Iceborn is set to be played in, and as you can tell by the name of the expansion pack this new area is going to be full of snow and ice-covered locations.
Capcom developers have claimed that every point of this new land is going to be searchable and we are sure to run into some insane monsters buried in the snow. What will you find in Hoarfrost Reach?
One of the newest features coming along with the Iceborn expansion pack is the usage of Hot Springs as gathering places.
These areas will be used as a central hub for all your exploration tasks essentially, a commonplace to regain some stamina and check on quests also.
This new health bar/difficulty rating will work hand in hand for online lobbies, this will be a new setting that will adjust the monster's health based on whether or not a player joins or leaves a lobby.
Should a player leave the lobby the monster's health will adjust to scale to the rest of the players.
Perhaps the biggest draw to the newest expansion pack, there are a lot of new monsters coming to the Iceborn DLC. We'll take you through all the newest ones below!
