This World War Two throwback has an extremely fast rate of fire and it can be extremely effective at any possible range. Here are three classes that will help you master this iconic Call of Duty weapon.

The MG34 light machine gun (LMG), unlocked at level 49, is the last gun in its class made available on Modern Warfare.

This World War Two throwback possesses a high rate of fire, making it lethal for close to medium-range engagements in Season 5.

In this guide, we will show you three classes along with some helpful Modern Warfare tips & tricks that makes this weapon just as deadly in the present day.

Class 1 - Unlimited Ammo

This class is perfect to stay in the action as long as possible with minimal need for bailing out for a lengthy reload.

Attachments

  • FSS Elite (Barrel)
  • Forge TAC Stalker (Stock)
  • Fully Loaded (Perk)
  • 100 Round Belt (Ammunition)
  • Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)

The combination of such a massive amount of ammunition and having maximum ammo at the beginning of the match makes running out of bullets a very remote possibility.

Perks

  • Scavenger (Perk 1)
  • Restock (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

Scavenger keeps the ammo supply high while restock means you will never run out of lethal and tactical equipment.

Grenades

  • Thermite (Lethal)
  • Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)

Thermite is a hybrid between a Molotov cocktail and Semtex. Thermite can be stuck to the majority of surfaces while the heartbeat sensor increases your awareness of enemies in the vicinity.

Field Upgrades

  • Munitions Box

Keep the ammunition stocked up to the maximum by placing the munitions box to resupply you and your teammates.

Killstreaks

  • Personal Radar (3 Kills)
  • Cruise Missile (5 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)

Despite it being a low-scoring streak combination, the VTOL can deal plenty of damage if the enemy isn’t using cold blooded.

Class 2 - Rapid Fire Rampage

Class number two capitalises on the fast fire rate of the MG34.

Attachments

  • FSS Brute (Barrel)
  • 5mW Laser (Laser)
  • Monocle Reflex (Optic)
  • Forge TAC Ultralight (Stock)
  • Granulated Grip Tape (Rear Grip)

Providing recoil control to counteract the quick fire rate, this set of attachments makes the MG34 easier to use and provides increased accuracy when firing from the hip.

Perks

  • Double Time (Perk 1)
  • Hardline (Perk 2)
  • Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Increased tactical sprint length, one less kill to acquire killstreaks and increased resistance to flash and stun grenades. This combination is simple and extremely effective for all styles of play.

Grenades

  • C4 (Lethal)
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

Utilise the large explosive radius of C4 when thrown ahead of you to clear out any enemy that may be waiting to take you down.

Field Upgrades

  • Stopping Power Rounds

Make the time to kill even faster by equipping stopping power rounds to have the ability to contend with quick-firing SMGs in close quarters combat.

Killstreaks

  • Care Package (4 Kills)
  • Cluster Strike (5 Kills)
  • Emergency Airdrop (8 Kills)

Have access to four care packages with this particular killstreak combination. You could score anything from a personal radar to the formidable juggernaut.

Class 3 - The Ultimate LMG

The third class has everything that makes LMGs great. Powerful, mobile and deadly at range.

Attachments

  • FSS Stubby (Barrel)
  • Cronen LP945 Mini Reflex (Optic)
  • No Stock (Stock)
  • Rubberized Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • 75 Round Belt (Ammunition)

This is the perfect combination of attachments that balances mobility, damage output and recoil control.

Perks

  • E.O.D (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Tracker (Perk 3

Tracker is the best way to locate enemies thanks to the ability to track their footsteps. Use it to score quick kills on unsuspecting opponents.

Grenades

  • Proximity Mine (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

Proxy mines make a viable alternative to the recently nerfed claymores. The key to getting the most out of stim is to use it at the right time in order to spend the most time in the action.

Field Upgrades

  • Weapon Drop

Call in a crate of high-powered weaponry for you and your teammates in order to get the upper hand on the opposition.

Killstreaks

  • Cluster Strike (5 Kills)
  • Wheelson (7 Kills)
  • Advanced UAV (12 Kills)

This combination of killstreaks is the ideal balance of dealing damage to the enemy and providing much-needed support to your team thanks to the advanced UAV.
