Modern Warfare Season 5: M13 Setup And Best Attachments For Your Class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

The M13 assault rifle is one of the more mobile ARs on offer in Modern Warfare. Here are three classes to get the most out of the quick firing rifle.

In Modern Warfare, the M13 Assault Rifle (AR) is growing in popularity, thanks to the recent nerf that the M4A1 and MP5 received - it's a great option in Season 5.

This fully automatic rifles' short-stroke piston system allows the rate of fire to remain high and the recoil levels low.

With it being unlocked at level 39, the M13 is one of the best guns in the game when equipped with the right attachments.

Below you'll find three custom classes for Modern Warfare and some handy tips & tricks that will help you master the M13.

WATCH NOW: OUR GUIDES DOWN BELOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE

Class 1 – AR or SMG?!

This class is an extremely mobile AR and it can even contend with the powerful MP5 and MP7 SMGs.

Attachments

  • Tempus Mini (Barrel)
  • G.I Mini Reflex (Optic)
  • No Stock (Stock)
  • Stippled Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Operator Foregrip (Underbarrel)

The lack of stock makes this class act like a sub-machine gun in terms of outright mobility. Combine with a little bit of recoil control and you are on to a winner.

Perks

  • Double Time (Perk 1)
  • Hardline (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

Increasing tactical spring speed to either navigate the map quickly or escape an enemy is always a good perk to run. Hardline makes killstreaks easier to earn and Amped increases weapon swap speed which is ideal when grabbing your secondary weapon to stay alive!

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

Select a piece of lethal equipment to use that suits your playstyle. For this class, the frag grenade is always reliable to take down enemies. The smoke grenade is always useful and can be used in a number of ways to give you the advantage.

Field Upgrades

  • Stopping Power Rounds

At the longer ranges, the M13 can feel like it takes a long time to secure a kill. Adding stopping power rounds into the magazine will decrease the time to kill considerably.

Killstreaks

  • Care Package (4 Kills)
  • Precision Airstrike (5 Kills)
  • Emergency Airdrop (8 Kills)

This combination of streaks is different to many featured in our guides. Only needing 8 kills for the emergency airdrop, it is possible to get your hands on the coveted juggernaut killstreak without scoring 15 consecutive kills.

Class 2 – More Damage, Less Mobility

This class is perfect for passive players, a lack of mobility makes it perfect to post up in a building and slay anyone that tries to push you out.

Attachments

  • Tempus Marksman (Barrel)
  • Integral Hybrid (Optic)
  • Forge TAC Stalker (Stock)
  • Granulated Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)

The longer barrel is the most accurate barrel available for the M13 and makes a perfect addition for any passive AR players looking to deal massive damage at longer ranges.

Perks

  • Scavenger (Perk 1)
  • Restock (Perk 2)
  • Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Never run out of ammo or grenades thanks to scavenger and restock as the first two perks. Battle hardened makes it easier to spot enemies when you’ve been hit with a flash or stun grenade.

Grenades

  • Claymore (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

Possibly one of the craftiest utility combinations, claymores can be placed near enough anywhere on the map and the stim offers quick health regeneration.

Field Upgrades

  • Tactical Insertion

Found a sneaky line of sight? Plant a tac insert there to respawn in the same location when you eventually get taken down.

Killstreaks

  • Counter UAV (4 Kills)
  • Sentry Gun (7 Kills)
  • Advanced UAV (12 Kills)

Not necessarily a streak combination with a lot of firepower but the advanced UAV can benefit the entire team, revealing the direction of enemies in real-time.

Class 3 – Bringing The Fight

The third and final class suits players that play quickly or prefer to take a slower stance on the map.

Attachments

  • Tempus Cyclone (Barrel)
  • Forge TAC Stalker (Stock)
  • FMJ (Perk)
  • Rubberized Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Tactical Foregrip (Underbarrel)

The barrel has a built-in suppressor, silencing the sound of the M13 but increasing the bullet velocity, making it very strong at close to medium ranges. FMJ makes shooting through thin walls and metal much easier to take down any enemies that are hiding behind cover.

Perks

  • Overkill (Perk 1)
  • High Alert (Perk 2)
  • Tracker (Perk 3)

Overkill allows you to run an SMG or even a sniper rifle for longer range gunfights. Tracker is perfect for following enemies and maybe even going for an audacious execution!

Grenades

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Decoy Grenade (Tactical)

It is personal preference when it comes to choosing a lethal but the decoy grenade is heavily underutilised and is great for drawing enemies out into open areas, making them an easy kill.

Field Upgrades

  • Dead Silence

Navigate the map with ease with silent footsteps and an increase in movement speed.

Killstreaks

  • Shield Turret (3 Kills)
  • Wheelson (7 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)

A well-placed shield turret can rack up a high number of kills but the combination of a wheelson and a VTOL jet will guarantee plenty of kills on the scoreboard.
