It appears that a lot of strong weapons are available in Season 5 of Modern Warfare and one that has quickly risen to the top is the FAL.
This is no different with the FAL Assault Rifle (AR) The semi-automatic rifle is especially strong in mid to long-range engagements and its fire rate depends on how fast your trigger finger is!

Class 1 – All About The Objective
Geared for objective players, this class can deal plenty of damage.
- 18.0” Ultralight (Barrel)

- Granulated Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
- Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Monocle Reflex Sight (Optic)
Offering some additional damage and maximum recoil control, the FAL can excel when committing to an objective where enemies can be all around your location.
- E.O.D (Perk 1)
- Pointman (Perk 2)
- Battle Hardened (Perk 3)
Converting killstreaks into scorestreaks allows you to capitalise on the points earned from securing the objective. Both EOD and battle hardened increase your resistance to the majority of lethal and tactical equipment.
- Thermite (Lethal)
- Smoke Grenade (Tactical)
As always it is personal preference when it comes to selecting which piece of lethal equipment to use but when playing the objective, thermite can have a huge impact on enemies that are bunched together on a flag or a headquarters. As always, the smoke can be used to block a line of sight or help you escape a sticky situation.
- Trophy System
Perfect for shielding you and your teammates from incoming projectiles when securing an objective.
- UAV (500 Points)
- Cluster Strike (625 Points)
- VTOL Jet (1000 Points)
These streaks are easily earned thanks to pointman and often score many kills thanks to the ability to guide the VTOL to different areas of the map to get the highest amount of kills possible. The VTOL makes for a very good defence for any objectives that are set in the open.
Class 2 – Locking It Down
Class number two is for the passive players and is extremely effective at long range.

The barrel extends the range massively without the loss of damage at range, making it great to take down enemies from afar with maximum efficiency.

- Tune Up (Perk 3)
Stay invisible from deadly AI killstreaks and earn your field upgrade much faster thanks to tune up.
- Proximity Mine (Lethal)
- Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)
When placed in the right spots, proxy mines can be extremely hard to see, often catching a lot of players out. The heartbeat sensor is ideal for identifying enemies that could be converging on your position.
- Munitions Box
Never run out of equipment or ammo by using a munitions box to resupply you and your teammates.
- Cruise Missile (5 Kills)
- VTOL Jet (8 Kills)
- Chopper Gunner (10 Kills)
By using the range advantage over SMGs and shotguns, the higher killstreaks can be earned easily with the chopper gunner taking no prisoners on the battlefield.
Class 3 – Ultimate Slayer
The third and final class is perfect when going for those high kill games.

The lack of stock significantly increases mobility which is ideal when engaging with sub-machine gunners at close range. The shorter barrel increases movement speed which is perfect when aiming down sights.
- Quick Fix (Perk 1)
- Ghost (Perk 2)
- Amped (Perk 3)
With aggressive gameplay in mind, quick fix is a good way to regenerate health when on the fly. Ghost will also keep you hidden from enemy UAVs, making it easier to navigate the map.
- Molotov Cocktail (Lethal)
- Flash Grenade (Tactical)
Molotov cocktails are good for clearing out windows and doorways to flush out any campers looking for a cheap kill. The flash grenade almost blinds an enemy, making them a very easy target.
- Stopping Power Rounds
To allow the FAL to keep up with the more powerful sub-machine guns at close quarters, the addition of stopping power rounds
- Counter UAV (4 Kills)
- Wheelson (7 Kills)
- Gunship (12 Kills)
Take down enemies from the comfort of your hiding place with a wheelson to clear out any buildings and a gunship to cause massive damage from above!
