Modern Warfare Season 5: AUG Setup And Best Attachments For Your Class In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

In this article, we show three different AUG loadouts to suit all play styles.

The AUG is a compact submachine gun for the 2019 edition of Modern Warfare.

In Season 5, it boasts a steady rate of fire and high damage output - making it incredibly strong at close to medium range.

With the potential to create an AUG for any style of play in the Gunsmith, we will show you three fully loaded AUG classes with some Modern Warfare tips & tricks to give you an upper hand over the opposition.

The AUG is the first SMG available in the weapon class and it’s a great starting point before moving onto the MP5 and MP7 once you’re familiar with the game and its mechanics.

It’s easy to control which is great for newer players and can even beat Assault Rifles at longer ranges when in the right position.

Class 1 – Fully Mobile

Class number one is focussed on mobility while still packing a punch.

  • 622mm Long Barrel (Barrel)
  • 1mW Laser (Laser)
  • Forge Tac CQB Comb (Stock)
  • Stippled Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)

This attachment combination is ideal for controlling recoil when firing constantly while the laser gives the AUG some much needed accuracy when firing from the hip.

  • Double Time (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Spotter (Perk 3)

Double Time adds plenty of mobility with increased tactical sprint time while Ghost keeps you hidden from enemy UAVs. Spotter is perfect for spotting any enemy equipment before rushing around a corner.

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Stun Grenade (Tactical)

Choice of grenades is always personal preference but we’ve selected a Semtex to quickly throw into an area and a stun grenade to slow down any incoming enemies.

Field Upgrade

  • Dead Silence

Silent footsteps make navigating the battlefield with ease and the slight increase in movement speed to further increase your mobility.

  • Personal Radar (3 Kills)
  • Cluster Strike (5 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)

The personal radar will allow you to rush around the map without the worry of a camper ruining your killing spree. A cluster strike can cause havok on an area of the map while the VTOL Jet is perfect for covering the majority of the map and shooting any enemy that is in the open.

Class 2 – Silent but Deadly

The second class offers a stealthier approach without impacting the strong damage output that the AUG possesses.

  • Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • 407mm Lightweight Barrel (Barrel)
  • FTAC Ultralight Hollow (Stock)
  • Granulated Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)

Adding the suppressor not only suppresses the sound but also increases accuracy when firing from the hip and doesn’t hinder the damage output. The FTAC stock is a great addition increases movement speed when aiming which is ideal when scoping in on a target while avoiding any oncoming fire.

  • Quick Fix (Perk 1)
  • Hardline (Perk 2)
  • Shrapnel (Perk 3)

Quick Fix is a good way to regenerate health quickly by securing kills and capturing objectives while Shrapnel will give you some more utility to use when going for the objectives.

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Flash Grenade (Tactical)

As always, it’s down to you when selecting the lethal but the flash grenade as the tactical is great for disorientating any enemies that may have set up shop in a building, making them an easy target for you.

Field Upgrade

  • Trophy System

Perfect for a more objective focussed style of play, the trophy system will block four pieces of enemy equipment that are sent your way.

  • Cruise Missile (5 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)
  • Support Helo (11 Kills)

Similar to a predator, harrier, pave low setup from Modern Warfare 2, this combination is a sure-fire way of racking up some high-kill games.

Class 3 – Tommy Gun Replica

The third and final class is a replica of the tommy gun, packing a lot of ammo and damage.

  • 407mm Lightweight Barrel (Barrel)
  • FFS Heavy Stock Pro (Stock)
  • Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drums (Ammunition)
  • Stippled Grip Tape (Rear Grip)

With a lot of ammunition to use, recoil control is important and easily managed with the grip tape and the foregrip. 60 bullets in the clip reduces the need for reloading too, meaning you’re less likely to get caught out!

  • Scavenger (Perk 1)
  • Pointman (Perk 2)
  • Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Scavenger guarantees you will never run out of ammo in the massive magazine while Pointman will allow you to earn progress towards streaks while playing the objective. Battle Hardened is ideal for reducing the effects of those pesky stun and flash grenades too.

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

Frag grenades are the lethal of choice. The ability to cook a frag to cause maximum impact is unmatched while the smoke grenade can be used to lure the enemy into a false sense of security or as a last line of defence.

Field Upgrade

  • Deployable Cover

Perfect for mounting in a highly contested area, deployable cover can make all the difference.

  • Counter UAV (4 Kills)
  • Precision Airstrike (5 Kills)
  • Sentry Gun (7 Kills)

The counter UAV is ideal for disrupting enemy vision, the airstrike is great for clearing out an objective and the sentry gun can be placed anywhere or guard you from any enemies while you sit tight in a building.
