The fan-favorite team bolsters some of the biggest names not only in console esports but the entire industry.

The Chicago Huntsmen were one of the last teams in the CDL to unveil their branding. Led by the former OpTic Gaming CEO and founder Hector "Hecz" Rodriguez, the team is considered by many to be the fan favorites heading into the inaugural season of the CDL.

Owned by one of the largest esports organizations in NRG, the team has some of the biggest stars in Call of Duty esports. Has Hecz built yet another dynasty?

Scump and Formal: T2P Again?

The infamous duo who were apart of the legendary 2017 OpTic Gaming dynasty roster which is considered by many to be the best Call of Duty roster of all time. The pair was best known for their dominant games throughout the course of their run together and of course the famous T2P slogan.

The phrase which ultimately means "Time To Pound" is stated by Call of Duty fans still to this day was created back during the Advanced Warfare days when no team could close to OpTic Gaming. Now reunited together under the Huntsmen, the pair are looking to yet again light up the scoreboard. After an up and down season for Formal, he will look to find consistency yet again and build his legacy as one of the best console players of all time.

Envoy: Sophmore Slump or Solidifying Dominance

Dylan "Envoy" Hannon is perhaps the only non-household name on this Chicago Huntsmen lineup. Being at the young age of 18, he was only able to officially compete in MLG events during the World War 2 season.

After a turbulent year in his first year competing he was apart of the MidNight Gaming lineup which was one of the biggest surprises of the Pro League Qualifier last year. After becoming one of the most aggressive and skilled SMG players during the entire Black Ops 4 representing the Gen G Esports banner, he now joins a team full of Call of Duty esports veterans. A lot of eyes will be on Envoy this upcoming season, will he slump in his true second season of competition or will he yet again become one of the best players in the game.

Arcitys and Gunless: Long Time Friends Reunited Again

Peirce "Gunless" Hillman was widely considered one of the best players early during the Black Ops 4 season. After this departure from Luminosity his new team; Envy was never able to capture success and Gunless was forgotten about it seemed. Gunless is known to be one of the hardest workers in all of Call of Duty esports, always playing the game has warranted him some of the best gun skill in the game.

Joining him on Chicago Huntsmen is his former teammate and 2019 World Champion; Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson. The latter was instrumental in eUnited's run at the Call of Duty World Championship this past season and is one of the most consistent main AR's we have seen in the league. Once team-mates who were best known for upsetting OpTic Gaming during MLG Atlanta, the pair know join Chicago Huntsmen with a mountain full of expectations.
