Fortnite Chapter 2: Fortnitemares 2019, Halloween Skins, Start Date, and MORE In Season 11

The fan-favorite event is back; could we see the long-awaited return of Ghoul Trooper?

Fortnite Chapter 2's Fortnitemares is officially upon us. With Halloween right around the corner and many Fortnite players now participating in Fortnitemares 2019, we’ll take you through everything we know about the seasonal event.

Storm King LTM

One of the first LTM's we will get this season is one that many thoughts was going to be a Save The World update. The Storm King LTM will pit players against a massive monster that grows stronger as the storm becomes bigger and bigger. Should you and your team defeat the Storm King you will get a unique umbrella, much like the John Wick LTM.

Gunfight

Similar to the game mode that was just released with Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Gunfight is a 2V2 created on fan-made map by user BluDrive! It will be very interesting to see how this new fast-paced LTM will play out.

Other Notes

  • Players are now able to give anyone on their friends list their own unique nickname!
  • The Combine LTM is back! The mode allows players to test our their skills and compete for the best time.

Skins

Epic Games has not hinted at the return of fan-favorite skins such as Ghoul Trooper and Skull Ranger, but due to the clever Fortnite data miners, we already know what type of skins we can expect during the Fortnitemares 2019 event. Some of these leaked skills are for sure to get fans wallets ready as they closely resemble some of the classic Fortnite skins fans have been waiting for two years now.

Famous Fortnite leaker @HYPEX has uncovered all of the present skin files within the code of the game. Although some of these may not be added or we may even see more here is the list as of now:

  • Skull Trooper Neon – Male
  • Gangster Monster – Male
  • Ghoul Trooper – Male
  • Cuddle Team Dark – Female
  • The Dark One – Male
  • Slurp Creature – Male
  • Wraith – Female
  • Pale spooky – Female
  • Modern Witch – Female

Of course, the standout skin from this list is the Ghoul Trooper male version. We are all well aware of the hype surrounding the female version, so maybe we will see the return of the female version along with the new male version in the item shop in the near future.

Fortnitemares 2019 Start Date

Fortnitemares will begin on the October 29th! As confirmed by data miners.

In previous years, Epic has heavily hinted the start date of Fortnitemares with special easter eggs over the map and they usually announce it a week or two before Halloween. We are just under two weeks away from Halloween, so there is a high chance that we will get some sort of hint in the coming days but there is nothing official yet.

All Leaked Skins

With the upcoming Halloween Fortnite event title 'Fortnitemares' set to kick off on October 29, many fans are anticipating some amazing Halloween skins. Data miners may have just uncovered that during this set of leaks!

Ghoul Trooper CONFIRMED

One of the top three rarest skins in all of Fortnite's locker room is finally set to return to the item shop.  Early this morning players who already owned Ghoul Trooper from 2017 were gifted with two new variants for them to show that they are the true OG's.

With these new versions added into the item shop, it is all but confirmed that it will soon be available to players during Fortnitemares. As in the past they have granted different versions for players who owned the Skull Trooper variant before it was re-added into the item shop.
